Please forgive how quiet it has been around here following the World Cup. Once the seasons kick off around Europe, we'll have more to talk about. In the meantime, neither Shay Given nor Joe Hart are going to be happy sitting on the bench at Manchester City, which means one of them might look for greener pastures (probably Given). Juan Pablo Carrizo returned to my beloved River Plate and kept a clean sheet on his third debut, a 1-0 home win to Tigre. More soon, I promise!
